End of the Year Medication Pick Up Letter

End of the Year Medication Pick Up Letter

Dear Parents/Guardians,

With the school year coming to an end, please keep the following in mind.

If your student has ANY medication at their school, please plan on coming to their school before the end of the school year and retrieving any leftover medication at that time. Medication cannot be sent home with a student, it must be picked up by a parent/guardian. In addition, medications cannot be stored at the school over the summer. Any medication left one week after the last day of school will need to be disposed of by IPS. This includes OTC medications, prescription medications, inhalers, and  other emergency medications regardless of expiration dates.

We greatly appreciate your help and cooperation with this! Please contact myself or your student’s secretary if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you!
